Update : Harley has come such a long way but will need a patient adopter or foster to adopt who recognizes that she  was not well socialized or trained in her early months prior to ASR and is still very much a work in progress ........she is VERY affectionate to people however she will need a slow transition . ASR is committed to all our dogs and Harley has a scholarship to continue training with TK-9 to help facilitate a smooth transition . 

Update :Harley is now in a Board and Train program to help her with her  socialization  issues and to teach her to relax in situations she sees as stressful ( vet visits , in the presence of energized or vocal dogs ). This is a 4 week program and her ideal adopter should be close enough to Elkridge MD to attend the post program training for a smooth transition .

Update : the lack of socialization and basic training that all puppies should have is evident in Harley's behavior.

She is very sweet with people but new places , car rides etc are frightening to her . She is in a doggie day care but can play too hard with smaller dogs . 

​Harley's ideal adopter will some one experienced with German  Shepherd dogs or similar  herding /guardian breeds and have done training with their prior dogs.

​Harley is  currently in a Board and Train with a local trainer to help prepare her for adoptive family.

No young children or small dogs or cats , please .
