From Bruno's foster : Bruno is a sweet and playful young guy (2-3 yrs old). He loves to play fetch and snuggle with his people. Bruno was in a shelter for 6 months so he is still getting accustomed to the sounds of everyday life, loud noises, trucks, and banging sounds can make him nervous, but he is getting more comfortable every day. Bruno knows some basic commands and needs training on leash, he likes to pull to sniff his surroundings but he is very responsive to training.
Bruno is crate trained and has been perfect with house training in his foster home which he shares with 2 other dogs and a cat. Bruno would do best in a home with older children
Bruno wants to be a part of a home who will enjoy a dog that wants to spend time with them, will enjoy play time and will allow him the time to acclimate to his new surroundings. Children over 12 would be best and a non city environment ( slightly sensitive to street noises etc)
When a local shelter posted photos of the sweet owner surrender, we knew we wanted to help this boy.......luckily a wonderful foster opened her home to him and he will be coming to us Friday. He was given up for " no time" but no worries, we will find an adopter who will have time for this sweet boy. What we know is he is a quiet fellow, a little tentative until he knows you , but then he warms up. At the shelter he was fine with dogs but in the foster's home he will be around dogs and a cat so we will have more info once he's settled in.
