Koda is a 5-year-old, endearing and loving German Shepherd-Akita mix who must find a new home. He has grown up in one home, but his primary caregiver went to college and now his grandparents feel that he would thrive with a person or family who has an active lifestyle and can give him the time and attention that he longs for and deserves.
Koda has a great personality, is loyal, smart, and obedient. He follows commands, house trained and enjoys walking on leash. He loves to play catch and fetch in the backyard with his freebie toy and a ball.
Koda is not aggressive, but he is sensitive to new people and will bark if someone new shows up in his environment. He adjusts once he's socialized with the newcomer. He has anxiety with thunderstorms.
Koda loves car rides and fun times so he will be up for any adventures that include walking, playing, training or exercising.
The active person or family who have lots of love to give and want to share life’s adventures and joys with Koda will be rewarded with an adoring lifetime companion.
