Duke is a very handsome, affectionate and smart german shepherd whose owner just passed away.  After years of love and loyalty, he is now living with a family member but needs a new forever home.

Duke is a very good boy and knows basic commands, SIT, STAY, COME, LEAVE IT and LAY DOWN.

He loves car rides but has not been the type of dog that went for walks. He has always lived with a fenced in backyard where he would run and play so he will need training for walking on a leash.

He enjoys a good game of fetch, loves all toys and will always walk around with them in his mouth.  

He has not been around children and he does not like cats.
Although he grew up around another dog, he is reactive to dogs he doesn't know.

Duke is a devoted and adoring companion dog who has so much love to give.  He is looking to enjoy life’s adventures and joys with a new family or person who will give him lots of love, attention and training.
