Jango is a large-boned, handsome German Shepherd with a big presence and an even bigger heart. Despite coming from an overcrowded shelter, where little was known about his past, one thing is already very clear—Jango is affectionate, gentle, and people-oriented.

Right now, we’re still learning more about Jango as he settles in and decompresses from the stress of shelter life. What we do know is that he enjoys human attention and leans in for affection, reminding us why we love this breed so much.

Jango deserves the chance to show who he truly is once he’s in a calmer environment with consistent care, structure, and love. As we get to know him better, we’ll continue to share updates—but we suspect there’s a wonderful companion waiting to shine beneath that shepherd exterior.
