Luna has been with us for four weeks and is blossoming beautifully. At first, she was a bit unsure on leash—occasionally jumping up or spinning—and would bark at unfamiliar people. Thanks to consistent positive reinforcement, she's gained confidence and now walks nicely, curiously explores her surroundings, and looks to her person for reassurance (and a treat!) when something catches her attention. While she can still be startled on walks, she responds wonderfully to gentle guidance and is learning to check in when she sees new people or dogs.

Luna is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and loves having a job to do. She enjoys chewing nylabones, chasing squeaky toys around the house, and settles down easily when it’s time to relax. She sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate and only fusses briefly if crated during the day. She’s very sweet and gentle with both people and our senior cattle dog mix.

Athletic but not high-strung, Luna doesn’t need excessive exercise to be content. She’s fully house-trained, rides calmly in the car, and uses a slow feeder to help pace her meals. She’s motivated by play, touch, praise, and treats, and would thrive in a home with breed experience. Though shy with new people, she warms up at her own pace and really shines when given time and patience. Luna is a lovely, affectionate dog with so much potential.
