Buddy is a fantastic young dog who needs guidance to live up to his potential. He loves to learn and tries really hard at everything you ask of him! He is crate trained and housebroken. He loves to play tug and chew on his favorite antler. He should not be in a home with cats or other small animals as he really likes to chase and mouth. But another medium/large calm dog will be great. Buddy is very exuberant, he is still just a puppy, only 10 mo old, and he likes to try to get away with things. He is pushy and can be barky when he doesn't get his way, so he will need an experienced GSD or other similar breed home.
Because of this he would not do well with young children, but older confident children may be ok.
Buddy will need a family that is calm and confident and is willing to invest the time to pursue training and make sure he gets the appropriate outlets for his energy! This wonderful boy has the potential to be the best dog you have ever had, he truly wants to be your Buddy!
