Congratulations, Borr, on your pending adoption.

Borr will be a wonderful addition to an active home experienced with GSD's.

He will do best with consistency in his life and and will be an excellent walking, hiking or jogging companion .  Loud noises, thunderstorms etc cause Borr great stress but with desensitization training this can be helped . 

Borr is wonderful with dogs .......and recently joined two of his best buddies for a swimming play date !

As is typical of the breed, Borr can be cautious with new people but warms up quickly. Since younger children create their own energy, we think a home with children over 12 would be best .

We are happy to report  Borr is doing well with a high quality limited ingredient dog food, added fiber and an inexpensive daily medicine ( Tylosin Powder ) Borr has gained weight and is stable. Borr was seen by both a regular vet and an Internal Medicine Specialist and the consensus is  it was a combination of the changes in his life ( surrendered to a shelter and then  the move to a great foster  ) as well as food changes , too which all contributed to  his issues .....
