River is just an amazing ( and beautiful ) GSD. Smart as a whip, a quick learner, and so loving. 

ASR volunteers have been taking her to obedience classes as we try and do for all fosters--and her confidence has grown as she is in very close proximity to other ( and often new) dogs. Her leash manners are very good, and she is lovely with everyone she meets. 

River is agile and athletic and would be great in any activity--walking, jogging, or any kind of dog sport!

She is fine with other large male dogs but not female dogs,  small dogs, or cats.
